Screening schedule for the 26th SIFF released (along with guidelines for online ticketing)

 

The screening schedule for the 26th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) has been announced, running from June 14 to June 23. The schedule is now available online (https://www.siff.com/page/paipian). Tickets for this year's festival will be available from 12 noon on June 7. So, you can now make plans for buying your tickets!

2.Where can tickets be purchased?

 

Taopiaopiao is the official exclusive ticketing platform for the 26th Shanghai International Film Festival. It is recommended to download and use the Taopiaopiao app to purchase tickets and learn more about the festival.

 

For users outside Shanghai, please set your location to Shanghai on the Taopiaopiao homepage to access the Shanghai International Film Festival section.

 

Movie enthusiasts in Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo, and Hefei can access ticket purchase portals for local screenings on their city’s Taopiaopiao homepage.

3. Where can screening information be found?

 

You can view the information of all films to be screened within the Shanghai International Film Festival section of the Taopiaopiao app.

4. How to snap up your ticket online?

(Only supported on the Taopiaopiao app)

 

(1) Before sales begin, you can select preferrable films & cinemas from the screening list, click on the “+” icon on the right to add the film to “My Schedule”.

 

 

(2) After sales begin, you can purchase tickets from the screening list or directly from your schedule.

 

 

5. How to collect your tickets?

 

After purchasing tickets, you can go to the cinema showing the film and use the ticket collection machine designated by Taopiaopiao for the Shanghai International Film Festival. Cross-cinema ticket collection is not allowed. You can scan the ticket collection QR code or manually enter the ticket code on the ticket machine.

 

 

 

Note: It is recommended to arrive at the cinema 1 hour in advance to avoid crowds and ensure timely entry.

 

6. Can electronic tickets be used for entry?

 

All screenings of this festival require valid paper tickets for entry.

 

7. Are there any ticket purchase restrictions for this festival?

 

Viewers for screenings at SIFF cannot simultaneously purchase snacks or beverages in the same order with their ticket.

 

Each user can purchase a maximum of 4-6 tickets per film. Additionally, vouchers, exchange vouchers, qualification vouchers, inflation fund, cinema cards, 88VIP cards, LeYing cards, and viewing fund cannot be used for purchases at the sessions for Shanghai International Film Festival.

 

Note: If the users share the same account, ID number, phone number, IP address, mobile device, payment account, or in other reasonable circumstances that they may be treated as the same person, the orders will be deemed as the purchases from the same user.

 

8. Can tickets be refunded or exchanged if there are last-minute changes?

 

Due to the special nature of SIFF screenings, all tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

 

9. Can ticket orders and points be credited to Taomai VIP membership?

 

Ticket orders can be credited to Taomai VIP membership and earn points as usual.

 

Additional Information:

1. Achieve VIP status by purchasing 5 tickets or more within 12 months, with a total expenditure of at least 150 RMB, or achieve Black Diamond VIP membership by purchasing 12 tickets or more within 12 months, with a total expenditure of at least 300 RMB.

2. Earn 1 point for every 1 RMB spent. The maximum points per order are 300, and the maximum points for each day are 500.

 

10. How to request invoices?

 

The invoice issuance process for SIFF orders is the same as regular orders. You need to contact the cinema where you purchased the tickets for invoice matters.

 

11. Are there children’s tickets available?

 

The SIFF screening sessions operate on a one-ticket-per-person basis, with assigned seating. There are no children’s tickets available.

 

12. Are there any other important considerations?

 

SIFF is a gathering of film enthusiasts to enjoy cinema together. During screenings, please observe cinema etiquette by refraining from taking photos or recording the screen. Please switch your phone to silent or airplane mode to avoid disturbing others and maintain a good cinema environment.
