Furthermore, the Film Market of 2016 added a themed exhibition area for countries of the ‘One Belt, One Road’, which attracted 20 film commissions and companies from 13 countries. The ‘One Belt, One Road’ pavilion organised Chinese filmmakers to communicate and collaborate with filmmakers from ‘One Belt, One Road’ countries in order to strengthen the partnership between Chinese and ‘One Belt, One Road’ countries’ film institutions.

The International Film & TV Market - Film Market of 2016 attracted nearly 250 exhibitors, including overseas exhibitors mainly from Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, the Netherlands, Thailand, Korea, etc. The proportion of overseas exhibitors exceeded 40%, the total number of exhibition participants reached 16,000, and the total exhibition area amounted to 19,000 square meters.
