Ticket Buying Options for SIFF

Shanghai International Film Festival has always been a film carnival feast for fans. The 17th SIFF will be held from June 14 to 22 and the organizers are offering fans more than 300 excellent films from different countries.

Apart from the two competition sections, the Golden Goblet Award and Asian New Talent Award, there will be many others presenting top movies. They include the Opening and Closing films and movies featured in SIFF Highlights, Tribute to Masters, Focus China, Reproduced Classics, Multiple Perspectives, Touch 3D, IMAX Vision, Global Village, MIDA Docu, Films for Children, and Outdoor Films.

How to buy tickets has always been the biggest concern for fans. The movie program this year will be announced on June 6, and people can check for details on the official SIFF website: http://www.siff.com/. Ticket sales will start from 8am on June 7.

Purchase Option One: 35 selected cinemas (see list below)

Starting from June 7, fans can buy tickets for films from any one of the 35 cinemas selected to show SIFF movies. To avoid long queues in Shanghai Film Art Center and Grand Cinema, fans are recommended to buy tickets from other cinemas.

Purchase Option Two: Buy tickets online.

Staring from June 7, fans can buy tickets from the interactive ticket service platform Gewara as well as the festival\'s chosen ticket service websites, Tianxia Tickets and Yi Piao Tong..

Purchase Option Three: SIFF\'s Official APP

Tickets are also available on the festival\'s APP. Please download it from the APP store.

The three ticket purchase options are all available at the same time. You can buy tickets online or by cell phone while you are standing in the queue.
