Film & TV IP Development Conference: Digital Future - Realization Path of Digital Film and Television IP Value Theme Salon

In response to the national strategies on cultural digitization and the significant application of metaverse scenarios in core domains, we are organizing the " Digital Future - Realization Path of Digital Film and Television IP Value Theme Salon". This event aims to explore the proactive deployment and scientific layout of new technologies, products, and models in the film and television industry, within the realm of metaverse. Taking individuals (representing the cultural and entertainment consumption habits of Generation Z), content (including film and television IP, digital platforms, and the development of digital cultural products), and venues (such as film festivals in the metaverse, cross-domain scenarios, and online/offline interactive experiences) as the main themes, we will focus on topics such as digital film and television intellectual property asset management, film and television intellectual property product development, and the realization of value through the integration of film and television across different scenarios. During the 25th Shanghai International Film Festival, a symposium on “Establishment of a Collaboration Mechanism for Film and Television Production Service Agencies”, and a meeting named “Yangtze River Delta Film and Shooting Base Alliance” would be held. In which we would discuss the basic coordinating principles and standards for film and television production, promoting the cooperation and development of film and television shooting services in the Yangtze River Delta, and jointly building an integrated, one-stop, full-process film and television production service standard and service system, thus promoting the deep integration of culture and tourism as well as the prosperous development of the film and television industry.

Film & TV IP Development Conference: “Golds From Words” By Science Fiction World

At this science fiction film and television IP development conference, Sichuan Science Fiction World Magazine will invite He Deng, the head of Bilibili Bikuli Studio, Jiang Bo, A Que, Hui Hu, and Lu Ban, Sci-Fi writers, to bring the release of new projects and science fiction salon discussion: “Golds From Words - The Diversified Future of Chinese Science Fiction Film and Television”, and to recommend six top Chinese science fiction novels that are suitable for adaptation into film and television.

Jiang Bo | Vice President of Chinese Science Fiction Association, Director of Shanghai Science Writers Association, Founder and Vice President of Shanghai Pudong New Area Science Fiction Association. He has published more than 60 short stories, more than 1.2 million Chinese characters, and seven novels, including the trilogy of “The Heart of the Galaxy” and the series of “The Gate of the Machine”. The winner of China Science Fiction Galaxy Award, Jingdong Literature Award and Global Chinese Nebula Award.

Hui Hu | Has a diverse style of literature work, being skilled in both technical description and human emotions. Within a few years of debuting, he has won various science fiction awards, including the Galaxy Award for Micro Story and Short Story, the Gold Award for Full-length Novel at the 10th Chinese Science Fiction Nebula Awards, the Micro Story and Short Story Championships at the Science Fiction Light-Year Award, the Future Science Fiction Master Award, and the Special Award for Full-length Novel, Gold Award for Medium-length Novel, and Silver Award for Short Story at the Morning Star Award.

A Que | One of the representatives of Chinese science fiction writers and has published more than ten literature works with a total of two million Chinese characters. He has won the Global Chinese Science Fiction Nebula Award fourteen times and the Galaxy Award four times. Many of his works have been sold for film and television adaptation rights and have been translated into multiple languages for publication overseas. His representative works include “The Whale Rider” and “Goodbye Doraemon”, etc.

Lu Ban | A rising science fiction writer born in the 1990s. With his debut novel “Future Disease”, he won the Best New Writer Award at the 32nd Galaxy Awards, and won the Best Mid-Length Novel Award and the Most Adaptable Potential Award at the 33rd Chinese Science Fiction Galaxy Awards with “The New Noble”. He also won the Best New Star Gold Award at the 13th Chinese Science Fiction Nebula Awards. “Future Disease” has entered the stage of film and television development.

Zhang Bo | Senior producer of documentary center, a multi award-winning producer, focusing on co-producing factual content with international partners for Bilibili. For the past 11 years, he has worked with top-notch broadcasters like BBC, Discovery, NatGeo, A&E, NHK and ARTE, as well as with world-renowned production houses like Brian Leith Productions, Wall to Wall Media, Beach House Pictures and more.

It is an annual report on the “Top 10 China Influence Film and TV Series” that has a great influence in the film and television industry. “Blue Book of China Film 2023” and “Blue Book of China TV Series 2023” provide in-depth analysis of the development, achievements, problems, symptoms and future trends of China’s film and television industry and a blueprint for sustainable and sound development of China’s film and television industry.
