The end for submission is around the corner. Following the reminder last time, we’re here to offer you a warm notice today the last time - the submission deadline for SIFF EXPLORE is March 31, 2023. Don't miss the chance! Otherwise, you will have to wait for a whole year.

On the journey of exploration, dreams never fade. As an emerging field for discovering and supporting new talents, mining new works and encouraging exploration, SIFF EXPLORE, since its inception, has gathered great teachers and friends in every session. Through a series of activities rich in content such as instructor forums, exploration classes and exploration training camps, we offer an opportunity for like-minded people to communicate, learn from and support each other, to help they get closer to their dreams.

Submission Notice

1. Work length: Within 5 minutes (inclusive);

2. Production time: From April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023;

3. Genre: Genres not limited, for example, feature, documentary, animation, experiment films, etc.;

4. Quality requirements: Only MOV or MP4 high-definition, 1080p HD (encoding H.264), and meeting 2K screening standards;

5. Shooting format: Either landscape or horizontal or portrait;

6. Entity: The creator who owns the copyright of the work or his authorized representative, and only one main creator can be submitted for each work;

7. Submission period: From now until March 31, 2023.

Established in 2019, SIFF EXPLORE is a key initiative aiming to improve new talent cultivation and create a multi-staged new talent incubation system. Based on short film works that have a running time of 5 minutes or less, it is designed to discover new talents and works, and encourage young creative talents to explore the production of film works to the fullest through solicitation, presentation, tracking, training and other forms that introduce them to full-length production. At the same time, it takes the advantage of and exerts the effect of the SIFF platform to integrate social resources and promote the reserve of talents, cultivating and providing new talents for the film industry for its future development.
