All in seconds | Shortlisted works of the short film section announced

The short film section of the Shanghai International Film Festival was held from July 28 to 29, and 48 shortlisted works were announced today.

The group of mentors and judges is composed of director Zhou Ziyang, screenwriter Yuan Yuan, animation director Liu Kuo, actress Li Meng and Migu Video CEO Wang Bin, will select 20 outstanding works from a total 48 works to be announced and recommended at the special event of the short film section on July 28. The mentors and judges will also discuss the future development path of young creators under the theme of “power of image in four minutes”.

This year, the short film section will also invite the creators of outstanding short films to Shanghai to communicate face-to-face with the mentors and judges, complete the “course of exploration”, and start a series of “trips of exploration”. The short film section will enable the creators to gain professional insights and enhance their confidence in the primary steps of the training of newcomers at the Shanghai International Film Festival.
