The 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival Film Market officially closed today at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. After the launch ceremony, city leaders also toured the film market. Today, as China moves from a big film country to a film power, the film market has strengthened the layout of the whole industry chain, with exhibitors covering film production, post production, distribution, marketing, education, investment, financing and service, and added "Theme Pavilion of Film Talent Training", "Theme Pavilion of Film Investment and Financing" and "Theme Pavilion of Yangtze River Delta Film and Television Shooting Base". In the theme pavilions of talent training, exhibitors from Shanghai Theatre Academy, Shanghai Vancouver Film School, East China Normal University, Tongji University, and Shanghai Film Academy, Shanghai University to show their film talent training characteristics and teaching achievements, and even model makeup techniques on the spot. The theme pavilion of investment and financing invites financial people and film institution guests to hold industry salons, and tries to get through the communication channels between film production and financial funds.
"The international co-productions market" provides a cooperation platform for Chinese and foreign film producers to promote market transactions, during which excellent co-production projects from Greece, Russia, Italy and other countries were promoted. Vassilis Xiros, consul general of Greece in Shanghai held a roadshow for his project ONE DAY . It is known that Vassilis Xiros has found partners and investors to write and direct the film, which is about to be officially launched and aims to have its world premiere at the Shanghai International Film Festival next year.

Representatives of film production and distribution enterprises from Iran and Thailand and Chinese filmmakers gathered together to discuss new ideas for cooperation in the film industry. In the third year, "Belt and Road Theme Pavilion" still has country promotion activities, with Kazakhstan, Russia and other countries along the "Belt and Road" actively participating. At the same time, 3 to 4 market screening activities and salons will be added every day this year, which will greatly facilitate the domestic and foreign buyers to watch films in the film market and build a platform for filmmakers to understand the markets of various countries. "I really like the free exhibition environment and communication space here, and I can directly understand the film culture of different countries," the Thai filmmaker said in the interview.
"Shoot the Book! Shanghai" market activities have successfully carried out during the film market.
