On the evening of June 22, the Media Focus Unit, China Movie Channel of the 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) ended. DRIVING FOR YOU ALL NIGHT became the biggest winner of the media focus unit, winning the Most Media-focused Screenwriter, the Most Media-Focused Supporting Actor, the Most Media-focused Supporting Actress and Special Honor of the Jury; CROSSING THE BORDER-ZHAOGUAN won the most Media-Focused Film, the Most Media-Focused Director and Special Honor of the Jury; Yue Yunpeng and Jiang Hongbo won the Most Media-focused Hero and Heroine for COWARD HERO and YELLOW ROSE respectively. Zhao Wei, Li Ruotong, Xi Meijuan and other well-known actors appeared on stage to issue certificates to these outstanding filmmakers.

The Media Focus Unit, China Movie Channel of the SIFF attracted the participation and registration of nearly 200 films. Finally, 12 films including CROSSING THE BORDER-ZHAOGUAN, COWARD HERO, YELLOW ROSE and DRIVING FOR YOU ALL NIGHT were shortlisted. After 4-day exhibition and 12 meetings for production teams, all honors were announced one by one tonight.

The first honor presented tonight, the Most Media-focused New Actress, won by Kazakh actress Dinatz Nourseiti, who became the youngest winner in the history of the Media Focus Unit of China Movie Channel, for her wonderful performance in THE COMPOSER. THE COMPOSER, the first Chinese-Kazakh co-production, set against the background of a special experience of Xian Xinghai in Kazakhstan, praised the great spirit of the people’s musicians who suffer in foreign countries but still care about the motherland. Young actor Song Weilong, who won the Most Media-focused New Actor, said excitedly that "this is my first film award and will be the driving force for me to continue to bring more good works to you". Tumen, who won the Most Media-focused New Director, is an actor with a rich acting experience. As a director for the first time, he presented a well-made HULUNBUIR CITY. In the thunderous applause of the audience, he said: "I have been an actor for many years, but a newcomer as a film director, I will strive to be a good actor and director in the future".
