Invitation to Opening Ceremony of 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival and Golden Goblet Awards

The 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) will be held from June 15th to 24th, 2019. The opening ceremony and the Golden Goblet Awards and red carpet will take place at the Shanghai Grand Theatre on June 15 and June 23, 2019 respectively, to which filmmakers and other guests from the global film industry are invited.

The SIFF is a competitive film festival accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations. For more than 20 years, building on the rapid development of China\'s film industry and strongly driven by Shanghai\'s development into an international cultural metropolis, the festival has become international, professional, and popular among the audiences and created a platform for exchange of film and culture between China and the rest of the world. It has gained influence by focusing on the main activities such as awards, markets, forums, and screenings and enhanced its brand awareness around the world through the Belt and Road Film Tour, International Express, etc.

Famous international filmmakers will gather at the opening ceremony of the SIFF and the Golden Goblet Awards Ceremony and red carpet.
