Plot:
Junoshin Kake is a skilled swordsman. He's also unemployed. To secure employment with the insignificant Kuroae domain, he promotes himself as "the only one who can rid the domain of a cult". Tatewaki Naito, one of the domain's senior officials, hires Kake as part of his scheme to outclass a political nemesis. Kake was employed to get rid of the cult but in fact the group dissolved years ago. When Naito realizes this, he becomes paranoid that he will be executed for treason. To protect himself, Naito orders Kake to organize a fake cult. When Kake tracks down the ex-cult leader, he puts him in charge of a group he's organized. Naito's original plan was to dissolve the group after achieving their objective but then the new cult gains unexpected popularity which ends up bringing on a war that involves the whole domain. Will Junoshin Kake solve the trouble he created?

In 1977, Enn was a shy suburban London teenager, sneaking out with his best friends to after-hours punk parties. One night they stumble upon a bizarre gathering of sexy teenagers who seem like they are from another planet. In fact, they are indeed from another planet, visiting Earth to complete a mysterious rite of passage. That does not stop Enn from falling madly in love with a beautiful and rebellious alien teenager who, despite her allegiance to her strange colony, is fascinated by Enn. Together they embark on a delirious adventure through the kinetic punk rock world of 1970s London, inadvertently setting off a series of events that will lead to the ultimate showdown of punks vs. aliens, and test the limits of how far each of them will go for true love.

“Lean On Pete” is a story of a kid that refuses to lose hope or heart despite the harsh realities of his world. The quote of the novel by John Steinbeck is used at the start of his novel which reads “It is true that we are weak and sick and ugly and quarrelsome but if that is all we ever were, we would millenniums ago have disappeared from the face of the earth”. It follows fifteen-year-old Charley Thompson. He wants a home, food on the table and a high school he can attend for more than part of the year. As the son of a single father working in warehouses across the Pacific Northwest, stability is hard to find. Hoping for a new start, they move to Portland, Oregon where Charley takes a summer job, with a washed-up horse trainer, and befriends a failing racehorse named Pete.

He explores the house and meets a smiling young woman who’s only too happy to see him-Juliette, the love of his life, who died in 1972 - and here is where she once lived. A group of young friends, novice filmmakers, stumble upon the same house and decide it’s the perfect location for their next home to make horror movie. They initially throw taunts at the Jean who’s scared them out of the house, then stalk him with their camera, and at last, start making a movie after learning that he’s an actor. They come up with a script which is about an empty house, an old man and the ghost of his beloved one...

Plot:
Sosuke Tashiro is on an elite at a major bank until he is transferred - or rather relegated - to a subsidiary company, where he reaches retirement age. After decades of single-minded dedication to his work, he finds himself at a loss. Days pass with nothing for him to do, and time goes by at a snail's pace. "I don't want my life to end like this." Sosuke picks up the courage to look for work at a nearby job center, but his glittering academic background and impressive resume get in the way and he has little luck. Upon seeing this, his wife Chigusa who works as a hairdresser and his daughter jokingly suggests that Sousuke should find someone to date. Coincidentally, Sousuke indeed finds someone who he is interested in but things do not turn out the way he wants and his life starts to take on an uncontrollable twist.
