The 21st Shanghai International Film Festival Journalist Online Registration Now Opens

The 21st Shanghai International Film Festival will be held from June 16th to 25th, 2018, and the journalist online registration is now available on the official website www.siff.com from April 16th to June 2nd.

Held since 1993, Shanghai International Film Festival, the only competitive film festival in China approved by FIAPF, has come to its 25th anniversary this year. Such a success cannot be achieved without the active participation and wholehearted support from domestic and international media friends.

With both the motif of “Focusing on Asia, Promoting Chinese Films and Supporting New Talents”, and the self-positioning of professionalism, internationalism and benefaction to people, the 21st SIFF will hold a series of events with innovative concept, including Golden Goblet Awards, Asian New Talent Award, “the Belt and Road” Film Week, Internet Summit, SIFFORUM, International Film Festival Panorama, Film Market, SIFF Project and theme film panorama celebrating the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening up. 

Media friends are warmly welcomed in Shanghai in June by SIFF, where we can share new ideas, concepts and trends in the film industry, discover new stories beneath master pieces of the established film makers and new films of the young talents, and exchange views and goals.

1. SIFF journalist online registration is from April 16th to June 2nd, 2018.

2. After logging in the official website www.siff.com, click Journalist Registration under Registration and Declaration. Please fill out the registration application form in compliance with the Registration Policy and upload identifications in accordance with the system prompts, including the standard identification photo, information page in the Press Card issued by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, and letter of recommendation issued and sealed by the work unit.

3. After the registration documents are approved, an e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address provided for confirmation. Please print out and properly keep the confirmation letter, and bring it to the lobby of Shanghai Film Art Center that is No.160 in Xinhua Road to complete the on-site registration.
