Top 10 Disney Cartoons Screened in Film Panorama of Shanghai International Film Festival

Today the Organizing Committee of the 20th Shanghai International Film Festival and Walter Disney Pictures, Inc. unveiled the special section of“Disney Classics” in Film Panorama.Ten animated masterpieces from Disney, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs  and The Lion King, are to be screened in Shanghai, recalling invaluable childhood memories of countless Chinese fans. 

The 20th Shanghai International Film Festival will be held from June 17th to 26th, 2017, attracting celebrities and professionals from global film industry with a plentitude of splendid films to Shanghai. As a key section in Film Panorama of the festival, “Disney Classics” features nine highly-acclaimed cartoons produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Dumbo (1941), Bambi (1942), The Little Mermaid (1989), Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992), The Lion King (1994), Fantasia/2000 (1999) and Winnie the Pooh (2011).

Along with some relatively recent animated blockbusters such as Zootopia and Frozen, the studio used to produce a plethora of successful cartoons, exemplary of which are the ten featuring this year’s “Disney Classics”
