Hollywood Superhero Action Star Bradley Cooper Makes Shanghai Festival Debut

Bradley Cooper is present at 2016 Shanghai International Film and TV Festival.

Celebrated Hollywood actor and producer Bradley Cooper, hailed for his roles in "Silver Linings Playbook,""American Hustle," and "American Sniper," is making his debut appearance this year at Shanghai International Film and TV Festival.

Cooper is currently filming the James Gunn-directed second installment of Marvel\'s superhero movie "Guardians of the Galaxy" in which he reprises the role of Rocket the raccoon.

The actor, who also starred in "The Hangover" trilogy, revealed at the Shanghai press conference on June 11 that working on the Guardians sequel is very challenging, but also a lot of fun.

Rocket is voiced by Cooper and played by Sean Gunn, the director\'s brother, in motion capture.

"When you see the final product, it\'s a true collaboration. Rocket is really a combination of many people," he said.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is scheduled to be released in 2017.

Cooper has been nominated for four Academy Awards during his luminous career, three for acting and one for producing.

The actor said it\'s hard to choose his favorite film because when he\'s making the movies he falls in love with them. But three films --"Silver Linings Playbook,""American Hustle," and "American Sniper,"-- are dear to his heart.

"If I had to choose one, it probably would be \'American Sniper\'," he said.

"That\'s because of the responsibility involved in playing an actual human being and knowing the family trusted myself and Clint Eastwood to tell the story of their son, husband and father," he explained.

Cooper is joining Chinese director Lu Chuan at a public discussion at The Grand Theater on June 12.
