Emir KUSTURICA (Serbian director, musician, actor, producer, writer and architect)
Kusturica received a degree in film directing at FAMU in Prague. After his studies, he directed for TV and won several awards. His first feature, Do You Remember Dolly Bell?(1981), won a Best First Work Award in Venice. Time of the Gypsies (1988) brought Kusturica the award for Best Director at the 1989 Cannes Film Festival, while Arizona Dream brought him a Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 1993. Kusturica\'s Underground (1995) won a Palme d\'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and he got a Silver Lion for his Black Cat, White Cat (1998) at the Venice Film Festival.

(Canadian director)
Member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Directors Guild of America / Canada, the Writers Guild of America / Canada, and the Royal Canadian Academy of Art. Egoyan is a Companion of the Order of Canada; he is honoured with a 2015 Governor General’s Performing Arts Award. With sixteen feature films, Egoyan has won numerous awards including five prizes at the Cannes Film Festival, two Academy Award? nominations, eight Genie Awards, and prizes from the National Board of Review.
Daniele LUCHETTI
(Italian director)
Luchetti was born in Rome. He attended the Gaumont Film School created by Renzo Rossellini and he debuted as assistant director for Nanni Moretti. Luchetti is the supervising professor for the course director at the “Scuola nazionale di cinema” in Rome.
Karena LAM
(Chinese HK actress)
As an acclaimed actress from Hong Kong, Karena Lam is considered one of the most versatile artists in Hong Kong, with her feature debut in July Rhasody she won Best Supporting Actress & Best New Performer at Golden Horse Awards and Hong Kong Film Awards. In 2015 she featured in Zinnia Flower (2015) and she won the Best Leading Actress at Golden Horse Awards.
PEMA Tseden
(Chinese director, screenwriter)
His debut The Silent Holy Stones (2005) has established his position as the first film maker to have made a film entirely in Tibetan language with a Tibetan cast and crew in the Tibetan regions. His recent film Tharlo has won the Best Adapted Screenplay Awards at the 52nd Golden Horse Awards and received the Best Director, Best Feature Film and Best Cinematography nominations.
Abderrahmane SISSAKO
(Mauritanian director, producer)
In his work, Sissako conjures up visions of the displacement of its people and the large-scale violation of human rights in Africa. His critically acclaimed film Timbuktu (2014) was awarded seven Césars and was nominated for both the Palme d’Or and the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
YAN Geling (American Chinese
novelist, screenwriter)
Bilingual novelist and film and television scriptwriter affiliated with the United States’ Writers’ Guild of America (west). She has published around a hundred literary works in China and abroad and received over thirty literary awards of various kinds inside and outside China. Her scripts for Siao Yu and Xiu Xiu: The Sent-Down Girl, won the prizes for Best Adapted Script at the Asia-Pacific Film Festival and the Golden Horse Awards, respectively.
