Heyi Pictures, a film production company belonging to Youku Tudou, inaugurated the first four films in the Multi-Screen Movie Project in collaboration with CCTV-6, AirMedia and Fundamental Films yesterday at the Shanghai  International  Film  Festival.

The Multi-Screen Movie Project is a definition by Heyi Pictures, which refers to a new form of film released to the public through different channels and screens in addition to traditional theatre release.

The films will be screened on platforms like PC, smartphone, tablet, TV, airline media as well as metro, bus and outdoor screens, providing flexibility for the audience who will be able to watch films on various devices at any time.

The four film projects to be shot and produced soon are Xue Xianjian’s “Goodbye Time,” Li Yuhe’s “Heart Stands Still,” Hua Jianan and Xu Weixiang’s “Love @ You” and  Niu  Chao’s “Zhai Ji Diu.”

The Multi-Screen Movie Project not only provides more  streaming platforms, but also promotes young filmmakers and talents to improve themselves.   The four films announced yesterday will  be  produced  by  famous  directors.
