TV Festival: Shine the Sky in the Globe
Shanghai TV Festival, first held in 1986, is an international event of TV about the TV program award selection, program transaction, new media & equipment market and forum. It is also one of the most important platforms in Asia for international TV exchanges and cooperation. To conform to the trend of industrial development and lead the future industrial value, this year’s TV Festival has added the Variety Show Award selection to measure the Chinese variety show programs from the comprehensive perspectives.

The poster of this session of Shanghai TV Festival means “shining in the sky in the globe”. By carrying on the plain and dynamic style of Shanghai TV Festival, the youth dynamics shown in the poster reveal the confidence and efforts of Shanghai TV Festival to pursue reform and innovation over the past two decades and more.

The array of light beams in the poster demonstrates the pleasure and harmonious rhythm exclusive to TV media. The light beams are both practical and virtual, representing the diversity and high-tech innovations of the new media that bring huge changes to the people’s life. The colors are fresh and plain. Green is the classic color of Shanghai TV Festival. Blue stands for Shanghai. And the white lines, just like the michelia alba in the starry night, give dynamics and passion. The starry night symbolizes the TV Festival will become more brilliant with the beams reaching the globe and shining in the starry sky.
