Film Panorama Highlights International Vision

The International Film Panorama is one of the most popular film festival events, with hundreds of excellent films from different countries and regions being presented. This year\'s selection is no exception with some of the best all-star cast, highest quality films.

Features from the Golden Goblet Award and Asian New Talent Award, SIFF Highlights, Gala Screening, Tribute to Masters, China Panorama, Classic Shots, Multi-perspectives, Touching 3D, Global Village, Magnolia International Documentary Awards, and Mobile Phone Film Festival Shorts will all contribute to this year’s global film feast festival.

The Tribute to Masters section includes many excellent works, starting with the Asian premiere of the restoration of Alfred Hitchcock’s nine surviving silent films. There also will be separate showings of Oliver Stone’s and Xiao Jinanerlang’s works, Zhang Guorong’s film retrospective, Tang Xiaodan’s film exhibition, and screenings of the juries’ works. The Global Village section will be a national-level cinema show, including English, French, German, Italian, Brazilian, Japanese, Thai and Indian films.

The International Film Panorama aims to cultivate people’s diversified film appreciation tastes by offering alternative products to those from the Hollywood system.
