Online Application for Film Market Stand Renting in SIFF Available

From Jan. 1, 2013, the online application for film market stand renting in Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) is available. Exhibitors can log onto the official website www.siff.com and fill out the "Application Form for Film Market Stand", and the organizing committee will be in charge of the qualification.

Aiming to create a trading platform for international buyers and film producers with more humanity-based and professionalism-based services, SIFF\'s film market has experienced a rapid growth in recent years. In 2012, the film market has firstly moved to the central hall in Shanghai Exhibition Center and it witnessed a record high number of 807 renting exhibitors among which 50% were from abroad. During the three-day trading, a total number of 2,617 registered buyers from over 100 countries and regions negotiated in the market, and 250 sessions of the traded films were broadcast in the festival.

The 16th SIFF is to be held from June 17 to 19 in 2013. The film market provides more professional services and more practical trading platforms by integrating film screening, film trading, post-production, special-effect makeup, new media, shooting location, 3-D film production, shooting location, branding, film financing and legal service, etc. and it also exhibits diversified content trading and a market structure of a full industry chain.

The deadline for the online application date is May 15, 2013. Preferential application method "early-bird" will be applied and discounts will be offered to new exhibitors. We look forward to your participation.
