Seer Sequel Scheduled for June Release

announced yesterday at the 15th Shanghai International Film Festival.

The film is a sequel to Seer, which proved to be a box office sensation during last year\'s summer vacation.

The theme continues to center on a battle of wisdom, strength and courage between the Seer team members and

space pirates during a space adventure.

Featuring a lot of superb CG stunts, the film promises to present audiences with a more stunning and immersive

visual experience. Duan Linxi, winner of the 2011 "Super Girl" singing contest, and other young pop idols will

give voice to the cartoon film characters. Duan will also sing a theme song for the movie. "To know more about

the film, I have spent a lot of time communicating and interacting with movie fans on the Internet," said

Duan.

According to the film\'s producers, they will develop an array of film by-products such as TV series, Internet

community links, cell phone games, magazines and toys.

"The film\'s story caters to the taste of today\'s children," said Wang Lei, a producer. "We hope that our

efforts can increase more and more people\'s awareness of outstanding domestic cartoon films."
