SIFF x Piaget SIFF YOUNG X "Master Class" Open for Registration

As the first and only international non-specialized competitive film festival in China, Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF), following the philosophy of paying attention to "Asia, Chinese film, and newcomers", has long been concerned with the growth and development of young filmmakers, exploring long-term support mechanisms, and consciously assuming the responsibility of delivering talents to the Chinese film industry. As part of this year’s SIFF YOUNG X, SIFF and Piaget will cooperate with the three major film academies, namely Shanghai Vancouver Film School, Shanghai Film Academy, Shanghai University, and Film School of Shanghai Theater Academy, to hold the “Master Class” course and offer scholarships to support more outstanding young filmmakers to devote themselves to creation and continue the craftsmanship spirit of the film industry. By then, three renowned experts in the industry, Ye Jintian, Zhang Qi and Shawn Patrick Tilling, will share their professional knowledge and unique insights in their respective fields. The event will be held in Room 406 of Shanghai Vancouver Film School on June 14 and 15. Registration is now open to film practitioners, professionals and students on a limited basis.
