SIFF ING | 2026 Mobile Filmmaking Camp Is Now Calling for Filmmakers

The global call for filmmakers for the brand-new Mobile Filmmaking Camp under the SIFF ING is officially launched today. From now until April 8, we are inviting filmmakers from all walks of life who love visual storytelling and are eager to tell stories with their mobile phones to explore more diverse creative possibilities through mobile imagery!

It is one of the important missions of SIFF to encourage cutting-edge expressions through innovative tracks and support the growth of young filmmakers. In 2026, keeping pace with the current industrial perspective transformation, SIFF ING has upgraded and launched Mobile Filmmaking Camp, turning the palm of your hand into a brand-new stage for cinematic creation.

What is the Mobile Filmmaking Camp?

It's a mobile filmmaking platform for everyone. Turn your mobile phone into a professional filmmaking tool and stand a chance to have your short film screened at SIFF ING 2026.

How to participate?

From now until April 8, submit your application by scanning the QR code below. The organizing committee will comprehensively evaluate applicants' qualifications and previous works to select 10 filmmakers. Selected filmmakers will be provided mentorship by the committee and production support to shoot a 1-5 minute short film on iPhone based on the Camp's keywords, which will then be screened at SIFF ING in June.

Exclusive benefits and professional support will be provided for the 10 finalists to turn their short film ideas into reality.

01. Funding & Mobile Phone Equipment: Necessary mobile devices and financial support specifically for short film production.

02. Screening Opportunity: Final works will be publicly screened  in a theatre during SIFF ING in June.

03. Training and Festival Events: Finalists will be invited to training and mentorship opportunities in April, and are also able to participate in SIFF ING 2026 activities, including SIFF ING events during the film festival in June.

04. Accommodation Arrangement: Complimentary accommodation at the official designated hotel during SIFF in June.

05. Official Promotion: Concentrated publicity and exposure of the finalist and films through the film festival's official channels.
