Invitation for the 26th SIFF Red Carpet Started

In June, let’s celebrate the charm of film art in Shanghai.

The invitation for the 26th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) red carpet ceremony has officially started, and the opening and closing ceremonies will be held in June at Shanghai Grand Theatre. SIFF sincerely invites domestic and foreign filmmakers and film institutions to join us at this event.

In 1993, with the momentum of reform and opening up, SIFF was born in Shanghai, the birthplace of Chinese cinema, making it the first and only international competitive feature film ferstival in China. Over the past thirty years, SIFF has adopted an open attitude to gather, present, and support outstanding films from both domestic and international stages. The jury members for the main competition, Asian New Talent, documentary, animation, and short film sections of Golden Goblet Awards, as well as the production teams of many highly anticipated Chinese-language films that are about to be released, will walk the red carpet together and attend the Awards Ceremony to add glamour to this industry event of light and shadow, to promote cultural exchange and witness the prosperous development of the Chinese film industry.
