Since the official inception of Cinema in Focus - SIFF VISION LAB by the 25th Shanghai International Film Festival, many fans have been wondering: what exactly is this event? What kind of productions can I experience on site? How can I make a reservation?

Cinema in Focus - SIFF VISION LAB is a collection of representative equipment and content that have prevailed waves of technology updates around the world over the past 30 years: 360° full-panorama cinema, vertical interactive experience, virtual reality (VR) theatre, extended reality (XR) installations and other experience-focus equipment, which will lead you to a journey to explore the innovations and breakthroughs in digital film and TV productions, surprise your senses and discover the infinite possibilities beyond images.

Over 30 digital films and videos will be on show at the same time on site. Some of them will offer you the chance to experience the magic of nature and the thrill of climbing with your bare hands on a towering cliff; others will take you into the magical world of sound; and some will invite the audience to have a wild time like never before.
