SIFF SHOOTING 48H｜Instructor Lineup Announced for SIFF SHOOTING 48H

The Dream Chasers Know No Limit - SIFF SHOOTING 48H of the 25th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) announced its instructor lineup today: Yi Xiaoxing and Peng Fei, who are both directors and screenwriters, and Wang Renchao, a young director who won the "Ultimate Challenger" award at SIFF SHOOTING 48H during the 24th SIFF.

This year, SIFF SHOOTING 48H will be held from June 9 to 13. 8 teams will meet with the challenge of time-limited creation in Pudong New Area, Shanghai and Shanghai International Resort on June 8; on June 9, a panel of instructors consisting of Yi Xiaoxing, Peng Fei and Wang Renchao will provide pre-competition creative training for the teams; on June 10, the challenge will be officially started and the winners will be announced on June 13 at a ceremony.

Yi Xiaoxing

Director / Screenwriter

As a representative of online content producers, he is good at observing the audience's emotions and accurately controlling the shaping of comedy characters and plots. His representative works include the internet short drama UNEXPECTEDNESS and films SURPRISE, BATH BUDDY and GODSPEED.

Peng Fei

Director / Screenwriter

His works are playful in nature, with a sense of humor that comes from life. His representative works include TRACING HER SHADOW, THE TASTE OF RICE FLOWER, UNDERGROUND FRAGRANCE, and STRAY DOGS, etc.

Wang Renchao

Young diretor

In 2021, he won the "Ultimate Challenger" award at SIFF SHOOTING 48H during the 24th SIFF for LOST IN HER. His representative works include the science fiction film THE END OF THE LONELY ISLAND and DEEP IN, and his independent screenplays include THE WORLD RUNS ON and CENTAURI ABOVE THE PEACEFUL RIVER.
