VIVA LA FESTIVAL｜An Epic Matchup between Cannes and Oscar Winners

Today, the second batch of films for the VIVA LA FESTIVAL section of the 2023 Shanghai International Film Festival will be released, which features several award-winning films from the main competition section of the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, as well as an exciting matchup between Cannes Best Actor winner Song Kang-ho and Oscar Best Actor winner Joaquin Phoenix in the same section. The films are as follows:

CORSAGE, winner of the Best Performance Award in the UN CERTAIN REGARD section at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival; MOTHER AND SON, finalist of the main competition section of the 2022 Cannes Film Festival; THE EIGHT MOUNTAINS, which scooped the Jury Prize in the main competition section at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival; CLOSE, holder of the Grand Prix in the main competition section at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival; BROKER, which is honored the Best Actor Award in the main competition section at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival; BITTERSWEET RAIN, which took the Best Film Award in the International Competition section at the 2022 Mar del Plata International Film Festival; TOTEM, which has been selected for the main competition section at the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival; C'MON C'MON, starring Oscar-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix; LUXEMBOURG, LUXEMBOURG, which was nominated for the Horizons section of the 2022 Venice International Film Festival; and SCENT OF WIND, which earned the Kim Jiseok Award at the 2022 Busan International Film Festival.
