VIVA LA FESTIVAL｜Keiko Gazes at Tar's Love Life

The VIVA LA FESTIVAL section of Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) was established in 2019. Bringing together the latest award-winning or nominated films from the world's major film festivals, this section offers audiences the opportunity to explore the latest cinema trends around the globe. Today, we are glad to introduce first some fine works from renowned international film festivals in Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Locarno and so on, including:

LEILA'S BROTHERS, winner of the FIPRESCI Prize at the Cannes Film Festival; TAR, honored with the Best Actress Award at the Venice International Film Festival; SMALL, SLOW BUT STEADY, selected for the Berlin International Film Festival and ranked the number one in last year's annual top ten list of "The Movie Times"; SOUL OF A BEAST, shortlisted for the Locarno Film Festival; SPENCER and LOVE LIFE, nominated for the Venice International Film Festival; ONE FINE MORNING, prize-winner of the Europa Cinemas Cannes Label for best European film at the Cannes the Directors' Fortnight; NO BEARS, scooper of the Special Jury Prize at the Venice International Film Festival; THE INNOCENT, enlisted by the Cannes Film Festival; and WORLD WAR III, holder of the titles of the Best Picture award in the Horizons section at the Venice International Film Festival and the Grand Prix award from the International Competition Jury at the Tokyo International Film Festival.
