About Co-FPC

Co-FPC (Co-production Film Pitch and Catch) originated from the Sino-European Co-production Film Forum in 2006. Together with CFPC, Co-FPC occupies the central focus of the SIFF Market.
In a global scale, Co-FPC requires co-production projects, investors, producers, distributors and other film project related titles. It is expected that through Co-FPC increasing foreign projects and capital would be absorbed into Chinese market.
Every year, Jury selects 32 Co-FPC projects, which are suitable for co-production and have market potentials. The selected 32 projects will join together with other 8 CFPC projects in the face-to-face discussion section for cooperation or financing possiblities organized by the Organizing Committee for a whole day. “Most Promising Project to Invest " will be awarded with funds according to buyers' evaluation .
In 2009, 32 Co-FPC projects and 8 CFPC projects participated in the face to fact meetings, 403 meetings in total, and 35 of them found their co-production partners successfully. 

Selection Criteria of Co-FPC:
•  cooperation between Chinese film projects and global capital
•  cooperation between foreign film projects and Chinese capital
•  diversified creation
•  projects with detailed marketing plan
 
Co-FPC is open for film projects:
from all parts of the world and related with globalized themes; the projects coming from foreign countries must conclude Chinese or Asian elements, or plan to be produced in China; the projects that have secured 20% of the total budget are favored.
