JURY OF THE 5TH SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Zhu Yongde (President)
Zhu Yongde, Chairman of China Film Producers.Association, Vice President of Shanghai Culture, Radio, Film & TV Group, national first-grade photographer. He has shot successively over 10 films including New Song of the Wind, Unforgettable Battle, Love of the Sea, Unexpected Son-in-law, Herdsman, Our Niu Bai Sui, Wreath at the Foot of the Mountain, Sunrise, Kai Tian Pi Di and Aubergine Crown, etc.

Eberhard Junkersdorf
Incumbent President of the German "Filmforderungsanstalt" and President of the Films Administration Committee. In 1968, he took up his job as producer and manager of production for American and German films and founded Bioskop-Film, taking charge of business management. Since that time, Bioskop-Film has been producing about 50 films including The Coup de Grace, The Tim Drum, Rosa Luxemburg, Alaska.de, and Desire, etc. In 1987, he became a board member of the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Neuer Deutscher Spielfilmproduzenten". He founded the Munich Animation Studio in 1995. Up to now, the studio has produced films including The Fearless Four, Tobias Totz and Help I'm a fish, etc.

Alan Parker
Alan Parker is a famous English director, writer and producer. Main works: MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (1977), FAME (1977), MISSISSIPPI BURING (1988), EVITA (1996).

Andrzej Zulawski
Andrzej Zulawski is a Polish director. His major films are Samson (1961), Popioly (1966) and Warsaw episode of L'Amour Vingt Ans (1962). Trzecia Czesc Nocy (1971), L'IMPORTANT C'EST D'AIMER (1975), Possession (1981). His wild, imaginative and controversial pictures received sixteen awards at various international film festivals.

Gleb Panfilov
Gleb Panfilov is a famous Russian director, screenwriter and actor as well. He was winner of the State Premiums Larueate and was entitled People's Artist of Soviet Union. His major works include "There is no ford in the flame" (1967), "May I have the Floor" (1975) , which won Grand Prize at Karloviy Vary Film Festival, "The Theme" (1979) and "Valentina" (1980). His "Vassa" (1983) got the First Prize at Moscow International Film Festival. Another film "Mother" (1984) was also awarded prize at Cannes International Film Festival.

Lee Chang-Dong
A Korean director,Lee major works include Green Fish, Peppermint Candy, The Day A Pig Fell Into the Well, Virgin Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors.

Pan Hong
Pan Hong, actress, is the Deputy Chairperson of China Filmmakers' Association and Vice President of China Film Performing Art Academy. She has, so far, acted in films: Slave's Daughter, Ring of the Camel in the Desert, Smile of the Dejected, Morning Rays through Clouds, Du Shi Niang, Song in Swirl, Middle-aged, Cold Night, Fire Dragon, The Last Empress, Well, The Last Aristocrats, Single Women, Shanghai Fever, and Embrace the Rising Sun, etc.
